User Advocates
Join UXArmy as a User Advocate and earn compensation for testing Mobile Apps, Websites, and Prototypes.
Website/Mobile App/Prototype owners utilize your insights to enhance the User Experience of their platform.
Each test consists of 3-5 tasks and typically requires 15-30 minutes to complete. Successful participation in a test results in a $10 compensation.
Owners of Websites, Mobile Apps, or Prototypes select individuals with specific profiles that align with their target audience before inviting them to partake in the tests. Completing your profile is crucial for test consideration.
To get started:
- Download the App and register as a User Advocate.
- Thoroughly complete your profile.
- Take the Trial Test and meet the requirements successfully.
- You are now eligible to receive an invitation for the full test if your profile matches the criteria.
If you have received an invitation with a Secret Key, you can proceed to take the test as a Guest Tester without following steps 2 and 3. You may also register as a User Advocate to continue receiving test opportunities.
NOTE: Be prompt in responding to test invitations as each test has a limited number of respondents.
Essential Guidelines before commencing the Test:
- Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- The App only saves feedback upon completion of the test. Once started, finishing the test is necessary, or you'll need to restart if interrupted midway.
- The App captures your screen actions and voice during testing.
- Payout is processed upon approval of the video you submit by the website/mobile app owner. For instance, videos with excessive background noise may be declined.
- Constructive and genuine feedback is valuable. Share your thoughts while performing tasks and provide suggestions where appropriate.
- Conduct the test in a quiet setting (Utilizing headphones with a mic is advisable).
- Incentive disbursement might require up to 4 weeks post-test submission and validation. Payments are processed via PayPal.
